Techniques: Irradiation

X-ray spectra, experimentally measured using a CdTe detector, obtained by filtration of 105 kVp x-ray beam through (a) 1-mm Pb filter and (b) 0.9-mm Sn filter. Fluence has been normalized to aid visual comparison (see Fig. ​Fig.44 for relative fluence comparison). These spectra were used as incident spectra in the MC model to generate XRF/scatter spectra, which in turn were compared with measured spectra for validating the model (see Fig. ​Fig.33).
